
Jiahui Huang is an award-winning reporter based in Singapore who covers Asian equities for Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal. She covers China and Hong Kong equities and macro economy, with a focus on auto-industry, property-sector and AI companies.
She previously worked in New York as an investigative reporter for the Global Migration project at Columbia Journalism Investigations. Her work “Toxic Labor” received a 2023 SABEW Award, 2024 Edward R. Murrow Award, 2023 Sigma Delta Chi Award and 2024 Sunshine State Award for coverage of post-disaster cleanup workers in the U.S. who have been exposed to toxins for years.
Jiahui has a master’s degree from the Stabile Investigative Journalism program at Columbia Journalism School and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Liverpool. She has been moving around cities in China, the U.K. and the U.S. for the past few years.
